Design Replayer is a feature in the Makers Empire 3D app that lets someone watch how a design was built, step by step, from the first shape to the finished model. The motivation came from a common curiosity and wondering exactly how they were made, and Replayer answers that by showing the whole build from start to finish.
In terms of how it works, any Shaper design created with the current version of the app can be replayed, and viewers can play, pause, fast-forward and rewind the replay as well as adjust its speed. To use it, you click the Replay button on a selected design and the Replayer launches.
The main classroom value is peer learning. Students can watch the steps others used to create strong designs and then try those techniques themselves, and a student can also use replay mode to teach classmates, effectively creating their own tutorials to share and demonstrate learning. That makes it useful both as a learning aid and as evidence of process for teachers, since it shows how a student arrived at a result rather than just the final model.
