Blocker shape packs can be created on any device by any user. You may want to save your blocker designs to use again or import into another design.
In the Makers Empire app, enter the blocker tool. Create your design and click the select all blocks tool.
In the dropdown menu, select the add to collection tool. Every user has a blocks shape pack called “MINE” where your designs will be saved.
Next step, is to give your blocker shape a name, description and orient the shape in the preview window to create a preview image.
There are a few considerations for creating a blocker shape that can be successfully imported into a shape pack.
No designs with adjacent blocks. The adjacent blocks only connected by one edge will not be included in the design.
Designs should ideally be no greater than 35x35x35 blocks as there’s no way to frame them well for shape preview images if they are bigger than that.
If your school has a multi-colour 3D printer you can print your blocker designs with ease from Makers Empire. Take a look at the this article to see how.
