What are Arenas?

Arenas let students collaborate by putting many Makers Empire designs in the one space

Arenas are a web-based collaboration tool that allow students to setup scenes with all the amazing designs they've created in Makers Empire.

How can teachers create Arenas?

This can be done by any of the following methods:

  1. On the View Designs page, you can select designs and choose Add to Arena.

  2. On the Classes page, select user in a class and via the Bulk Actions you can select Create Arena.

  3. On the Challenge Course Progress Reports page, if you find a design task challenge and click on the light bulb at the top of the grid, you can Create an Arena for all the students in that class.

  4. On any design page you'll see the Add to Arena dropdown button.

Can students create Arenas?

No, teachers must create them in the Teacher Dashboard and then share a URL to students.

Can I create an Arena from a Teacher Mission I created?

Yes - do this via the View Designs page and select the mission filters.

Do Arenas work in any web browser on all platforms?

Yes

Do Arenas work in Virtual Reality?

Yes

How many designs can I put in one Arena?

There is no limit to the number of designs, but slower devices will struggle to load Arenas with too many designs.

Can I share an Arena with parents or friends?

Yes

Can you access Arenas from inside the Makers Empire 3D app?

No
