Apple computers using Apple's own chips the M1-M3 have been out for a while now. Unfortunately, Flashforge hasn't released a version of Flashprint which directly supports these chipsets.

However, there is quite an easy fix. Software made to run on Apple computers with Intel based chips can often be run on Apple's computers with the M1 chip and above with the aid of Rosetta. Rosetta is a piece of software that allows applications developed for older Intel Macs to run on the newer M1-M3 models.

Flashprint may install, but when you try to open the application you will likely get a popup like the one pictured.

Click install, and the issue should be resolved. If however you the popup disappeared or you accidentally dismissed it, you can install rosetta another way. You can do this through the terminal. To open terminal go to Launchpad>Other>Terminal. Once the terminal has opened, type or copy and paste the command below.

softwareupdate --install-rosetta

You will now be able to open flashprint to start slicing your 3D models.
