πŸš€ How do I use Planets with my class?

Planets is currently only accessible via certain Challenge Courses which can be assigned to your students via the Teacher Dashboard.

Challenge courses that contain Planets will have the Planets logo above their names when you're assigning Challenge Courses to your students.

Planets is currently limited to classes, meaning that students will only be able to join Planets with others who are in the same class on the Teacher Dashboard.

As a teacher you will also have the power to limit Planets access to only be available during school time so that students can't access and modify your classes Planet outside of school hours. They will still be able to run around on the planet, but they will not be able to add, delete or move their designs around. This means that they can still go home and show off their work, without the risk of disrupting the class's work.

πŸŽ“ How does Planets assist me in class?

Planets is a valuable learning tool that adds easy to access collaborative environments directly within the Makers Empire app whilst fostering communication and design thinking skills amongst your students.

Students can access these spaces and place down their designs from the Challenge Course. Once their designs are placed, they will be able to move, scale and rotate the design to position it however they want.

Students will then be able to comment on others designs, add reactions and walk around them. This is all done in real-time, with everyone from your class.

In doing this, students learn collaborative design and develop interpersonal skills, all whilst working together to create an awesome and fun environment to explore.
