🕺What are Emotes?

Emotes are a way students can express themselves within Planets by performing an action such as Waving or Dancing.

There are also speech bubble emotes that help students communicate by displaying a speech bubble above their avatars head with pre defined messages.


🤔 How do I use emotes?

Emotes are accessed via the emotes panel, which has two different tabs. The first tab is for the speech bubble emotes, which can be scrolled / swiped to access 8 different options.

The second tab is for the action emotes which make the students avatar perform special movements.

📱Touchscreen

There are two different ways to access the emotes panel on a touchscreen device like an iPad or Phone.

👉 The Emote Button

The emote button only appears on screen if you are on a touchscreen device. Pressing this button will open the emotes panel directly.

💠The Context menu

The emotes panel can also be access via the context menu.

Open the context menu by clicking the 3 dots in the top right of the screen. You can then click the emote button to open the emotes panel.

⌨️ Keyboard including mouse & touchpad

When you are using a device with a keyboard and mouse (or touchpad), you access the emotes panel via the context menu.

Click the 3 dots in the top right of the screen and then click the emotes button.
