We have just released a new feature at Makers Empire, which allows teachers to review a design using Artificial Intelligence in the Teacher Dashboard. This includes the ability to run a Print Checker for any design.

Not only can you get a general summary review of the design, you can also write your own criteria that the review can incorporate into the assessment.

This is a fantastic tool for teachers to automatically assess any design based on a predefined set of criteria.

If you go to any design page in the Teacher Dashboard, you'll see a dropdown option called Design Review, which allows you to use this new feature. We recommend choosing Standard Review to try it out!

Here's an example of a DesignReview and the response you'll see.

You'll notice you can easily convert the Suggestions for improvement into a comment on the student's design.

Also, you can create your own rubrics, which makes this a valuable tool for a project with specific outcomes or objectives.

Students can see the design review in the app, but they must be running at least version 5.2.0 of Makers Empire, and a teacher must share the review with the student via the toggle box in the top-right corner.
