Help! I can't connect! (and my internet connection goes through a proxy server)

How to set up proxy details in the Makers Empire 3D app on Windows.

From version 4.4 of Makers Empire 3D, it should now connect successfully on internet connections that go through a proxy server, without requiring any authentication details to be supplied.

If you are having trouble connecting, please make sure you have the latest version from https://www.makersempire.com/download and contact us if the problem continues.

If you are having trouble connecting, please check in a web browser (on your Makers Empire 3D device) that you can access https://3d.makersempire.com - you should see:

If you don't see this message, please get your IT team to try adding an exception (also known as whitelisting) for the URL https://3d.makersempire.com (or with wildcards, http*://*.makersempire.com)

If you see the message as shown, please contact us for further assistance.

Here are some of the known proxy server settings for Australian Government Schools:

New South Wales DET
Username: user.name@detnsw
Password: (user password)
Address: proxy.det.nsw.edu.au
Port: 8080

South Australia DfE
Username: (not required)
Password: (not required)
Address: proxy.schools.sa.edu.au
Port: 8080

Queensland EQ
Username: the username used to log in to the school computers with, including the domain (E.g. myw\username).
Password: the password used to log in to the school computers
Address: proxy.eq.edu.au
Port: 80

Victoria DET
Username: the username used to log in to the school computers with, including the domain (E.g. edu001\username).
Password: the password used to log in to the school computers
Address: http://eduproxy/proxy.pac
Port: 8080

Tasmania Department of Education
Username: (required)
Password: (required)
Address: proxy.education.tas.gov.au
Port: 8080
