Ordinarily, removing a print from the Adventurer 4 is as easy as removing the flexible plate from inside, and simply flexing it from a few different directions. Prints usually pop off of the surface, and there might just be a few pieces of plastic left to remove.
What we have found is that there are often one of two culprits causing prints to not come off of the platform easily. The first is calibration of the printer being too close to the print bed. The second of which is Flashforge filament that is far too sticky, and adheres to everything. The instructions below should address both of these issues.
Calibration is too close to the print bed
What we will be doing here, is using the Expert Mode in the printer to manually adjust the calibration so that the extruder isn't as close to the print bed as it was before.
Step 1
Enter the 'Expert Mode', by tapping 'Maintain' > 'Calibration' > 'Expert Mode'
Step 2
Write down the number currently displayed on the screen of your printer. Example: -2.95
Step 3
Add 0.3mm to the number that you wrote down. Example: (-2.95 + 0.3 = -2.65)
Step 4
Use the up and down arrows to change the on-screen number so that it matches as close as possible to the number you've just worked out.
Step 5
Tap 'Ok' to save this new calibration value, and try printing once again.
