Using a USB to transfer files to your 3D printer may not be the ideal solution if you're not usually close to the printer. The 5MPro supports ethernet, wifi and hotspot mode, let's take a look at these options one by one.

Ethernet

The 5MPro can be connected to your network switch, router or even a dedicated desktop or laptop. For specific details on the setup refer to this article.

WiFi

There is an option to setup the WiFi during the initial calibration phase when the printer is first booted up. However, it is best to focus on setting up the printer first and then configuring WiFi later as there are more options from the main menu.

Once initial calibration has been completed, click on the gear icon to bring up settings menu, wifi setup is the second option on the horizontal menu. Toggle the wifi on, select your wifi network from the dropdown list and enter the credentials.

Note:As of writing there is no way to add a hidden wifi network.

Printer Hotspot

An alternative method if the 3D printer cannot be connected to the school network is to use the 5MPros dedicated hotspot with a laptop or desktop solely reserved for use with the 3D printer. Select the settings menu (gear icon) then the second option along on the horizontal menu to setup the hotspot on the printer. Then have the designated device connect to the printers hotspot using the SSID and password from this page(This can be configured to something more memorable or secure).

Cloud Printing

There are some third party solutions for managing your prints from the cloud. both Polar3D and Flash Cloud are integrated into the printer menu.
