Prepare the Classroom

  1. Make sure the Makers Empire 3D software is installed on all student devices.

  2. Make sure all devices are fully charged.

  3. Check the internet connection in your classroom or teaching space.

  4. If students don’t already have their own user accounts, make sure you include time to do this within your lesson. Write your school’s license key on the board.

  5. Consider using a projector or interactive whiteboard to demonstrate the software and to give clear instructions.

  6. If you plan to start printing designs during the lesson or want to show students the printer in action, set up your 3D printer and check that is working. Make sure you have enough filament to print your designs. Alternatively, order 3D prints via Makers Empire's 3D printing bureau service at info@makersempire.com
