The GLB/OBJ file formats are for full colour 3D scenes and models.
GLB's are the binary version of the glTF 2.0 file format and can be used in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and virtual reality and augmented reality (VR/AR) programs. The GLB format contains texture, dimension and even animation data.
OBJ's are often used in 3D design programs and game design. The OBJ file includes data about geometry and dimension, they also contain texture data in a companion file with the .MTL extension.
To download these files, on the Teachers Dashboard go to My 3D Files and click the download icon to download your 3D files:
In addition, Microsoft Windows 10 has a program installed by default, called 3D Viewer, which can display and manipulate GLB files. This program allows you to enable Mixed Reality mode, where your 3D models can immersed in the real world.
Additionally both formats can be used in the popular educational software Delightex.
