For this you will need:

  • Zipped file containing the latest firmware version (contact us to obtain it).

  • Blank, formatted USB Stick.

Step 1.

The first step is to unzip the contents of the firmware onto the blank, formatted USB stick. Once you've completed this, the USB should be organised as so:

Step 2.

While the printer is turned OFF, insert the USB stick into the right-hand-side of the printer.

Step 3.

Switch the printer ON, and click the black button on the front to wake it up. After a few seconds, the printer should boot into the updating screen as so:

Step 4.

Once the update has completed you'll be presented with the following screen. Please turn the printer OFF once more, and remove the USB stick from the right-hand-side.

Step 5.

Switch the printer back ON, and click the black button on the front to wake it up. Navigate to 'Tools' > 'About' and check that the firmware version matches the version you just attempted to install.
