If you've updated your Mac OS to Sequoia recently or just bought a new Mac, you might find this article useful. If you were intending to prepare something for printing on your flashforge printer, you may have found that flashprint isn't working for you.

You'll either be greeted with this message when trying to install.

Or have the notorious blocked icon where you previously saw the flashprint app icon.

Do not fear, this issue is easily resolvable with a quick workaround. First go to the downloads section of the flashforge website and grab the latest installer for Mac.

Go into your downloads folder and right click then select "show package contents".

Then enter Contents folder and drag Archive.pax.gz out of the folder and extract it. The extracted file is the Flashprint app which you should now be able to open. Drag it into your applications folder for easy access.
